Nyköping Municipality's new vocational high school in Skavsta

Nyköping Municipality is consolidating all its vocational upper secondary education programs in Skavsta into new, modern educational facilities. This marks the launch of a new, developed campus area in Skavsta.

We are extremely pleased and proud that Nyköping Municipality has chosen to continue investing with us. This is the first major project since Arlandastad Group acquired Skavsta and represents another important milestone for the area's continued development. It is perfectly in line with our plans to develop parts of Skavsta into an attractive hub for education, learning, and innovation, says Daniel Christensen, Head of Property Development at Arlandastad Group.

Currently, the upper secondary programs for Aviation Technology and Vehicle and Transport are located in Skavsta. With this establishment, Construction and Civil Engineering will also move to the area, thus consolidating all vocational programs in one place.

With new facilities, we will be able to accommodate significantly more students than today. The total construction encompasses approximately 6,700 sqm of facilities and about 3,500 sqm of land area. In total, the new school premises will accommodate 330 students. Occupancy will occur in phases, with the first access in January 2027.
